Launched as an update of the previous government deprivation league table, the new version of the IMD promises to be a powerful tool for community and campaigning groups. Crucially, it allows smaller areas to be profiled than previous ward-based data.

Statistics and Research support now available until 2006!

Thanks to money from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), community statistics work in Bradford, Keighley and Shipley will now continue until the end of December 2006.

The Community Statistics Project will aim to build on the previous Bradford Community Statistics Project (BCSP) and Bradford Community Information Resource (BCIR), providing local groups and campaigns with similar services, while offering a greater level of support to community enterprises.
